Comments from our Clients about the Rapid Eye Check Program*
"The purpose of this letter is to recommend the 'Rapid Eye Check
Program' as an effective tool in the war on drugs. The uniqueness
of this tool is that it is easily taught and used, is non-intrusive,
is an excellent indicator of medical or substance abuse problems,
and can help avoid many of the legal entanglements of other options.
One of the most important application of the 'Rapid Eye Check' are
its potential use for prevention and deterrence. The proper use
of this information can save lives in much the same way that the
use of CPR and the Heimlich maneuver save lives practically every
day."
Lee P. Brown, Chief of Police
(Former National Drug Czar
now Mayor of the City of Houston)
"On
behalf of the Conroe Independent School District Police Department, I would like
to extend our sincere appreciation for the very informative presentation by Mr.
Jim Satterfield and yourself. Immediately our officers began applying the Rapid
Eye Check in their every day duties. We feel the Rapid Eye Check is another tool
that administrators, teachers, school nurses and officers may use to assist
students succeed in their educational endeavor. With the knowledge gained from
the Rapid Eye Check Procedure our officers have strengthened our relationship
between school personnel, parents and students.

Chief, Conroe ISD Police Dept.
"It
is my pleasure to write and tell you how pleased everyone here at Grant
Geophysical is with the Rapid Eye Check Program. This program is outstanding,
not just because it is so reliable, but because it is very easy to learn and
apply in our everyday operations. In our industry we deal with a large employee
and subcontractor turnover. It is imperative we are able to assess our workers
quickly and accurately to assure everyone's safety and well-being. The training
process works perfectly with our supervisors because it takes them step by step
through the process and shows exactly what they are looking for. I believe that
if an employee knows that a supervisors are accurately trained to detect alcohol
and drug abuse, it will decrease the possibility of employee use.

"The
Rapid Eye Check procedure is in use at more than 500 companies and 25 law
enforcement agencies in the nation. It is used as a preliminary screening
process prior to bodily fluid testing for drug or alcohol abuse. Billie Edwards,
Interim Director of the Wyoming American Civil Liberties Union, said the ACLU
actually prefers a gaze and motor skills test over traditional urine tests when
screening for drugs and alcohol abuse."

"It
goes without saying that the Rapid Eye Check program is a must for every
organization's Safety and Health Program."

"We
are sure that the Rapid Eye Check will continue to be a guiding light in the
area of drug detection. Should you need our reference to promote your program to
others, we would be more than happy to accommodate your needs."

"I am
motivated to write this letter on behalf of the Rapid Eye Check program,
instituted at Interpak Terminals in August of 1998. We couldn't be happier with
the results that we have achieved in just one month. We feel that this program
will save Interpak a great deal of money and expense over the next year and will
pay for itself in added productivity and cut down on the cost of unnecessary
random drug testing.
Of
all personnel interviewed, there is an agreement that they feel empowered and
much safety now with the program in place. They have stated on many occasions
that now that they know the visible signs, they feel much more confident in
being able to spot potential users and what to do about them.
I
recently had a long time employee come to me and request rehabilitation for an
ongoing drinking problem. When asked why he waited so long, he replied that he
had no reason to stop, until now. With the Rapid Eye Check program in place, he
was afraid he would be discovered and disgraced if he didn't ask for help. To
have the opportunity to help an employee through a difficult time has been one
of the best feelings one could have. I thank you and the company I work for
thanks you."
